The Huna Breathing Technics album was designed to help you breath using traditional Hawaiian Huna breathing techniques. It consists of pure tones with nature sounds like water, fire, birds and wind.
There are four phases to the breath: inhalation, pause, exhalation and pause again before your next inhalation. By controlling these phases you can activate and increase different energies to support you in whatever you need to do.
There are also four breathing ratios in this album, each one has a different time for inhalation, pause, exhalation and pause. For each of theses phases you hear a sound with a particular picth. The inhalation has a high pitch sound (180 hz) and exahalation has a medium pitch sound (160 Hz). The pause phase has a low pitch sound (120 hz):
Fire: 8s (inhale), 0s (pause), 4s (exhale), 0s (pause)
Water: 4s (inhale), 4s (pause), 8s (exhale), 0s (pause)
Earth: 4s (inhale), 4s (pause), 4s (exhale), 8s (pause)
Balance: 4s (inhale), 4s (pause), 4s (exhale), 4s (pause)
The Fire track is designed to energize yourself: inhale for 8 seconds and pause for 4 seconds. Repeat.
The Water track is designed to calm down and relax youresf: inhale for 4 seconds, pause for 4 seconds and exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat.
The Earth track is designed to ground yourself: inhale for 4 seconds, pause for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds and pause for 8 seconds. Repeat.
The Balance track is designed to balance yourself: inhale for 4 seconds, pause for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds and pause for 4 econds. Repeat.
It all depends of the breathing ratio. So, breathing in an even ratio of 1:1:1:1 would be balancing and if you want to increase your energy, you increase the fire element 2:0:1:0.
Breath is the most important of all the bodily functions, in fact all the other bodily functions depend on breath. As much as we are dependent on breath for life, so are we largely dependent on correct, healthy breathing habits for continued vitality and freedom from disease.
