Controlled Breathing

The Controlled Breathing album by Brainwave Binaural Systems was designed to help you relax, calm down and de-stress by controlling your breathing. There are four phases to the breath: inhalation, pause, exhalation and pause again before your next inhalation. By controlling these phases you can activate and increase different energies to support you in whatever you need to do.

There are three breathing ratios in this album (4-7-8, 7-11, 1-4-2), each one has a different time for inhalation, pause, exhalation and pause. Just follow the pitch:

Increasing pitch : Inhale
Steady Pitch: Pause
Decreasing Pitch: Exhale

Trancks & embedded frequencies:

01 - 4-7-8 Relaxed Breathing: 7.83 Hz Theta
02 - 7-11 De-Stress Breathing: 7 Hz Theta with singing bowls
03 - 1-4-2 Calming Breathing: 7 Hz Theta

All tracks are embedded with Theta brainwave pulses. Theta Waves have been associated with states of enhanced creativity, learning, deep relaxation, daydreaming and sleep. Theta is also known as a highly suggestible state, where  affirmations and hypnosis are most effective. Some benefits of reaching the theta state may include healing, deep levels of relaxation, peak levels of creativity, learning and improved memory.

Stress Relief Breathing Techniques

The Stress Relief Breathing Techniques album was designed to regulate your breath helping you calm your mind and balance your emotions. I has tones with different piches together with smoothed brown noise to help you keep focused and mask possible annoying external sounds. There are three tracks, each one with one specific breathing technique. Since breathing is something we can control and regulate, it is an excellent tool for achieving a relaxed and clear state of mind.

Just listen to the tones. Each time the pitch changes you go to the next breathing stage. Inhale quietly through your nose and exhale audibly through your mouth:

3S Square Breathing: for relaxation and stress relief. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold it in for 3 seconds, exhale for 3 seconds and pause for 3 seconds. Repeat.
4S Square Breathing: for relaxation and stress relief. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold it in for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds and pouse for 4 seconds. Repeat.
4 - 7 - 8 Breathing: a natural tranquilizer and stress reducer. Inhale for 4 seconds, hold it in for 7 seconds and exhale for 8 seconds.

Tone pitches and actions:

Mid frequency: inhale
Low frequency: pause / hold
High frequency: exhale

“Practicing regular, mindful breathing can be calming and energizing and can even help with stress-related health problems ranging from panic attacks to digestive disorders.”

Huna Breathing Technics

The Huna Breathing Technics album was designed to help you breath using traditional Hawaiian Huna breathing techniques. It consists of pure tones with nature sounds like water, fire, birds and wind.

There are four phases to the breath: inhalation, pause, exhalation and pause again before your next inhalation. By controlling these phases you can activate and increase different energies to support you in whatever you need to do.

There are also four breathing ratios in this album, each one has a different time for inhalation, pause, exhalation and pause. For each of theses phases you hear a sound with a particular picth. The inhalation has a high pitch sound (180 hz) and exahalation has a medium pitch sound (160 Hz). The pause phase has a low pitch sound (120 hz):

Fire: 8s (inhale), 0s (pause), 4s (exhale), 0s (pause)
Water: 4s (inhale), 4s (pause), 8s (exhale), 0s (pause)
Earth: 4s (inhale), 4s (pause), 4s (exhale), 8s (pause)
Balance: 4s (inhale), 4s (pause), 4s (exhale), 4s (pause)

The Fire track is designed to energize yourself: inhale for 8 seconds and pause for 4 seconds. Repeat.
The Water track is designed to calm down and relax youresf: inhale for 4 seconds, pause for 4 seconds and exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat.
The Earth track is designed to ground yourself: inhale for 4 seconds, pause for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds and pause for 8 seconds. Repeat.
The Balance track is designed to balance yourself: inhale for 4 seconds, pause for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds and pause for 4 econds. Repeat.

It all depends of the breathing ratio. So, breathing in an even ratio of 1:1:1:1 would be balancing and if you want to increase your energy, you increase the fire element 2:0:1:0.
