The human body has energy centers with different rates of vibration or sound. These energy centers are called charkas. Each of the seven main chakras correspond to a particular frequency.
Different forms of sound therapy have been used by many cultures for thousands of years. Sound vibrations influence us on a physical and emotional level. Our body and chakra centers resonate at certain vibrations or sound frequencies. If any part of our body or chakra is out of balance, it can gradually be brought back into balance by listening to a sound frequency for the corresponding body part or chakra.
Delta brainwaves are associated with deep sleep, unconscious awareness and a state of empathy. When your dominant brainwave is Delta, your body is healing itself.
